Dereck Cross

            Dereck Cross, 38, of Park Hills, passed away April 11, 2018 at Parkland Health Center South in Farmington. He was born May 25, 1979, in Farmington, to Michael DeWayne and Cynthia Louise (Owens) Cross. Dereck loved his children, watching wrestling together with them on television, and baseball. He was a member of the Gospel Light Free Will Baptist Church in Bonne Terre.

            He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Cross.           

Dereck is survived by the loves of his life, children Brandon M. Cross and Maggie A. Cross; children’s mother, Brittany Lawson; mother, Cynthia Cross; brothers, DeWayne Cross and Danny Cross; three aunts, Cheryl Teasley and husband James, Carol Winch and husband Denny, Sue Anderson; numerous cousins, close friends, a niece, and nephew also survive.

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, April 14, 2018, from 2:00 PM until service time at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family, in care of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home.
