Della Ackman

Della Ackman, 88, of Red Bud, IL, passed away April 1, 2015. She was born in Gumbo, to the late Robert Roe and Minnie (Sago) Christopher. She is preceded in death by parents; husband, Silas Roy Ackman; one brother, Robert Christopher; and son, Roy Ackman. Della is survived by her daughter, Donna (Mrs. Denny) Braun; four grandchildren, Christopher Braun, Casey (Mrs. Jonathan) Koester, Jeremy Ackman, and Jeff Ackman; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry Christopher and wife Sue; two sisters, June (Mrs. Herky) Tiefenauer, and Betty Ruth (Mrs. Bill) Doll. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 10:00 AM to service time at 12:00 PM. Reverend Bob Price will be officiating.
