Deborah Couch

Deborah Ann Couch, a cherished wife and mother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, September 10, 2024. She was born to the late Robert Gano Boyd and Mary Mae (Laplant) Carr, on Friday, March 3, 1950 in Farmington, Missouri.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, John “Jack” Lee Couch; sister, Elizabeth “Beth” Boyd and brother, Robert “Tiny” Boyd. 

 She is survived by her loving children, Anna Lumley and Garet (Letisha) Couch; grandchildren, Sean, Kaitlyn, Justin, Taylor, Alayna, and Garet Jack; great grandchildren, Aniyah, Julian, Kyrie, and Asia; brother, Tony (Peggy) Boyd, along with many family members and friends.

 Deb is an enrolled member of the Shawnee Tribe and was a key organizer of the Saint Francois River Powwow that was held in Farmington, Missouri for many years. 

 Deb will be remembered for her loving support of those in their time of need, and her deep connection with her husband Jack. Together, they shared many adventures countless hobbies and numerous funny stories. Deb enjoyed sewing, crocheting and researching family genealogies. Deb's presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace.

 Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

 A  private burial will take place at Johnson Family Cemetery in Okemah, Oklahoma.
