Dean Bruce Turner

Dean Bruce Turner, 65, formerly of Doe Run passed away July 27, 2024, in DeSoto. He was born August 3, 1958, in Bonne Terre, to the late Lonnie and Edith (Hammers) Turner.

 Throughout his life, Dean possessed a passion for tinkering, always on the move, fixing and creating things with his hands. His love for fishing and collecting various items showcased his adventurous spirit and keen eye for the extraordinary. Among his family, Dean held a special place as the favorite uncle, spreading joy and laughter wherever he went.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandson, Kiersten, brother Larry Turner.

Dean is survived by three children, Jeremy Cole and wife Sara, Tara Hicks and Deanna Turner (Billy); Five grandchildren, Payton and husband Jay, Gracie, Wyatt, Braden and Brody; one great grandchild, Tatum Dean; three brothers, Jesse Turner, Timmy Turner and wife Kim, Mike Washburn and wife Vada; one sister, Charlene Willis and husband Bill; dear and special niece Krista Turner-Crocker along with several nieces, nephews and friends. 

A Celebration of life will be held Monday, July 29, 2024, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington at 2:00 P.M. until service time of 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Heath Harris officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Doe Run Cemetery.
