David Francis
David E. Francis, 83, of Park Hills, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Delmar Gardens. He was born Thursday, July 26, 1934 in Flat River to the late Noah E. and Madeline (Kennedy) Francis. Also preceding him in death is his wife, Janet (Zolman) Francis. David was a master craftsman wood finisher, painter, and an accomplished guitar/banjo/mandolin player as well as an avid fisherman.
David is survived by his children, Michael Francis and wife Kathy, Cheryl Kutheis and husband Paul, and Elizabeth Evans and husband Robin; grandchildren, Jason Francis, Damon Bryant, Katie Veliz, and Madeline Evans; great-grandchildren, Noah, Jackson, Lola, Olivia, and Ellie; brothers, Lawrence Francis and wife Kay and James Francis and wife Shirley; uncle, Lamar Francis and wife Ella, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a sister-in-law Rachel Zolman.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills with Rev. Rob Hampton officiating. Interment will follow at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery in Doe Run, MO.
