Darrel Lamar Hamman

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Darrel Lamar Hamman, who left us on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the age of 57. Darrel was born on Wednesday, September 20, 1967 born to Fred L. and Janet F. (Wilson) Hamman in Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Darrel was preceded in death by his father Fred Hamman; son, Anthony Hamman; grandparents, Willam and Wilma Briley, and Phil and Helen Bowles.

Darrel was a laid-back guy who found joy in the simplest things. He was an avid lover of the outdoors and could often be found casting a line during fishing trips, especially relishing the time spent with his nephew, Chris. Darrel also had a knack for poker, enjoying many good-natured games with friends and family, always with a hearty laugh.

He leaves behind his loving mother, Janet Hamman; children, Amber Hamman, Darrel Hamman, Jr., Amanda (Michael) Moore, Connor Hamman, Tyler Hamman and Melody Hamman; grandchildren, Jaiden, Jordan, Julia, Michael and Lance; siblings, Kimberly Bagwell, Kristal (David) Faulkner and his best friend nephew Chris Hamman; along with many nephews, nieces, family and friends also survive.
