Dannie Heady
Dannie Heady, 68, of Bonne Terre, passed away November 14, 2016 at Parkland Health Center North, surrounded by his family. He was born April 20, 1948, in St. Louis, to the late Willis “Bud” and Sadie (Heob) Heady. Dannie was a race car fanatic, his passion was building quality racing engines and he was also an avid dirt car racer. He loved to spend time with his family, time at the race track and with his little yorkie “Ricky Bobby,” whom he loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother in-law, Charles “Jud” and Loretta “Judy” Russell; and one brother in-law, Lee LaBrot.
Dannie is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Russell) Heady; two sons, Chad Heady and wife Teresa, and Eric Heady; four grandchildren, Carson and Hunter Heady, Rachel and Dylan Hasty; three sisters in-law, Charlotte McKinnry, Linda LaBrot, and Brenda (Benny) Daugherty.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The service will be held at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Friday, November 18, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Mid-America Transplant Foundation.
