Daniel Raymond Cantrell, 63, of Bonne Terre passed away February 22, 2018. He was born February 18, 1955 in Valle Mines. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Danny loved spending time with his grandkids and was always quick with a joke or magic trick. He also enjoyed roller skating, being outdoors, fixing up houses and was an all around handy man. Danny was a self-proclaimed Raider mascot and coached several community softball teams, taking a team to the State Championship.
He was preceded in death by his father, William J. Cantrell; mother, Gladys (Hasty) Black; step-father, Larry Black; two sisters, Nina Cain and Junes Sansoucie.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Brenda (Henson) Cantrell; three daughters, Amy Mattingly and boyfriend Jeremi Donze of Bonne Terre, Jessica Woodson and fiancé Chris Eagles of Bonne Terre, Christina Cantrell and boyfriend Cory Kitchell of Arnold; four grandchildren, Alyssa, Brayden, Ciara and Dayton; step-mother, Marie Cantrell; five sisters, Barbara (Robert) Marler, Rosemary (Loren) Horst, Nancy (Wayne) Stegall, Alice (Layne) Stegall, Jo (Dudley) Stegall; two brothers, Thomas Cantrell and Matthew Cantrell; Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Monday at 11:00 AM at the C. Z.
