Mr. Dale James Naset passed away Friday evening, August 18, 2017, at his Farmington residence at the age of 72 years, 8 months & 6 days. Dale was born on December 12, 1944, in Tacoma, Washington, & was the son of George Ralph Naset & Mary Elizabeth 'Bishop' Naset. (Ralph was career US Army and was killed in Korea and is buried at Fort Lewis, Washington)
Dale was a USAF veteran of VietNam and survived the Tet Offensive. When Dale made the rank of Staff Sergeant - he was the youngest member of the USAF to do so. Dale taught 'Survival Skills' to USAF pilots.
Survivors Include: his wife, Mary Virginia 'White' Naset, of Farmington. A daughter, Bonnie Lynn 'Mrs. Chad' Barker, of Bremmerton, Washington; a son, Robert Lee Naset, of Silverdale, Washington. Step-children: Gregory Lyndall (& Heather) Horton, of St. Augustine, FL; Carrie Amelia Gagnon, of Farmington & Jennifer Kaye (& Richard "Rick") Piper, of Jacksonville, FL. A sister, Karen 'Mrs. Gale' Matherly, of Tacoma, Washington. 3 grandchildren: Krystal Star Lynn Larsen; Judith Jean Larsen & Scott Vernon Larsen-Weltz "Buddy." Step-Grandchildren: James Anderson Olmstead; Austin Gregory Horton; Aliza Grace Piper and William Montgomery "Monty" Piper.
Visitation : Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Thursday @ 6:30 a.m.
Funeral : Thursday, 1:00 p.m., August 24, 2017,
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Pastor Allan Harmening officiating.
LeadBelt Patriot Guard Riders will lead the funeral procession to Parkview Cemetery, Farmington, for burial with Full Military Honors.
