Dale Gene Barnhouse

Dale Gene Barnhouse, of Doe Run, born July 8th, 1955, made his last cast on the morning of April 7th, 2021, at the age of 65. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Esta and Virginia Barnhouse and his brother, Norman Barnhouse.

Dale is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Patty Barnhouse; his daughters, Anita Brackett and Amanda (Billy) Bland; his favorite child (his dog) Pablo; his grandchildren, Todd (Ashton) Brackett, Brennon Brackett, Briley Brackett, Matthew Bland (fiancé Jaydyn Sullivan) and Ashlynn Bland; his great-grandchildren, Emmerson Brackett, Halston Stephens, Beau Brackett, and Liam Bland; his siblings, Marie Sheppard (Bill), Dot (Eddie) Turner, Jerry (Darlene) Barnhouse, Jim (Sam) Barnhouse, Gary (Mary) Barnhouse, Larry Barnhouse and Steve Barnhouse; and numerous other friends and family.

Dale was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He spent countless hours sharing his knowledge and passion for hunting and fishing with his family. If he wasn’t hunting or fishing, he was following his grandkids around to all of their activities, cheering louder than any other fan. He was a constant in their lives and he devoted his life to them.  His family will forever feel the void of his absence. 

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 1:00 PM until the time of a memorial service at 2:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington with Jared Gamblin officiating. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society. Face masks are requested.
