Cynthia Susan Parker

Cynthia Susan Parker, beloved wife mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on March 29, 2024, at Mercy Jefferson in Festus. She was born on November 16, 1956, in Newburyport, Massachusetts  to the late Gene and Hazel Louise (Mallock) Selvidge. Cindy's departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her.
 
Cindy is preceded in death by her son Casey Hester,  aunt "Bubby" Florence Henderson;  grandmother Cecelia Tanner and faithful terrier, Karma. 
 
Cindy, known for her warm smile and kind heart, led a life full of love and joy. Her passion for shopping was only matched by her culinary skills; her carrot cake remains a cherished memory for all who had the pleasure of tasting it. Cindy and her husband, Robert, shared 18 beautiful years together, filled with adventures. The beach held a special place in her heart, where she found solace and peace.
 
A devout member of the Solid Rock Family Church in Farmington, Cindy's faith was an integral part of her life. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter beyond measure. Her love and guidance will forever be etched in their hearts.
 
In the circle of family and friends who mourn her passing are her loving daughters Chrissy Arehart, Jenny Hall (Joey), Mallory Wheeler (Sam); grandson Clayton Parker; grandson J.C. Arehart, granddaughter Missty Rider (Chase), grandson Dakota Parker (Hailey Sansoucie), granddaughter Zariah Hall, granddaughter Kaytlin Showler, and granddaughter Londynn Rose Wheeler; precious great-granddaughter Kaylee Parker; brother Bud Chase; sisters Annie Eaton, Cathy Martin, Connie Dickerson (Dave); along with countless other relatives and friends whose lives were touched by her presence
 
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until the service time at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Darryl Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow at Herod Cemetery in Desloge. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
