Curtis Eugene Lawson, 83, of Park Hills passed away September 18, 2010. He was born April 3, 1927 in Frankclay. He proudly served his country in the United States Merchant Marines. He was a member of the Bismarck VFW and the Carpenters Union Local # 1795.He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Joseph and Blanche Marie (Watson)Lawson; son-in-law, Steve Yount;two brothers, Dale and Paul Lawson and a sister, Georgia in infancy.He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Annabelle (Cunningham) Lawson; children, Linda (Mrs. Michael) Hulsey of Frankclay, Connie Yount of Caledonia, Debbie Lawson of Frankclay; grandchildren, Shelly (Mrs. Lon Paul) Blair, Denise (Mrs. Jimmy) Holdman, Kyle Yount and wife Anna, Caley Yount and Christa Yount; great-grandchildren, Josh, Lauren, Wyatt, and Alex; two sisters, Norma Lee Claunch and Billie Ruth Denton.Visitation will be Monday, September 20, 2010 from 4 pm until 8 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Service will be Tuesday at 11 am at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge.
