With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Colin Weber, affectionately known as “Bubba,” who left us unexpectedly on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the young age of 36. Born on Monday, May 23, 1988, in Festus, MO, Bubba spent his formative years in Bonne Terre, where he created lasting memories and touched the lives of many. Bubba was a genuine soul, a kind-hearted individual who radiated warmth and compassion. 

He cherished the time spent with family and friends, often checking in on loved ones through Facebook and TikTok, reminding us all of his gentle spirit. As a proud member of the First Christian Church in Bonne Terre, he embraced community and fellowship with open arms. His passions were as vibrant as his personality. Bubba loved camping, riding four-wheelers, and exploring the great outdoors on his side-by-side. He had an unwavering admiration for Garth Brooks and eagerly attended concerts whenever he could each performance a cherished memory for him. His love for animals and children was evident to all who knew him. Rosco, who was more than just a pet, he was Bubba's loyal companion and friend.

Christmas held a special place in Bubba's heart. It wasn’t just about the festivities for him; it was a reminder of the precious gift of life, especially after receiving a kidney transplant. His glow and joy during this time filled our gatherings with light and love. Even after his passing, Bubba’s generous spirit lives on as a tissue donor, continuing his legacy of giving. 

Colin is survived by his beloved grandmother, Martha "Sue" Weber; grandfather, Harold Weber, fondly known as Pa Pa, who was his best friend and confidant; special aunt, Teresa (Weber) Brady; uncle and aunt, Steve and Diane Weber; grandmother, Marie Pirtle; step-brothers, Bryan and Joseph "Joe" Mann; loving nephews Connor Counts and Shae Mann, and nieces Adalyn Mann and Genevieve Mann. He also leaves behind cherished cousins, notably Glenn Fink, and his grandfather, Ron Pirtle.

Colin was preceded in death by his loving mother, Michele (Weber) Mann; step-father, Tim Pirtle.

Memorial visitation for Bubba will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Memorial visitation will resume Friday, April 25, 2025 at 10:00AM until memorial service time of 12:00 PM at C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home in Bonne Terre with Pastor Patrice Rosner officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery in Bonne Terre, MO.

Bubba, you will be dearly missed, but your light will continue to shine in our hearts forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations can be made to Make a Wish Foundation or National Kidney Foundation, honoring Bubba’s generous and caring spirit.

Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
