Clyde Copeland, 74, of Desloge, passed away March 31, 2015. He was born June 3, 1940 in Gladden, to the late Cyrus and Birtia (Cavender) Copeland. Clyde was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Desloge. He was the owner of Mid-State Mechanical Contractors, along with his brother Bill, for 35 years. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Rosalee (Mathes) Copeland; two granddaughters, Kristen Buckley and Brianna Carron; brothers, Leroy Copeland and Charles Copeland in infancy. Clyde is survived by three daughters, Kim (Mrs. Kary) Buckley of Park Hills, Carla Copeland of Desloge, and Shannon (Mrs. Dr. Richard) Follwell of Florida; grandchildren, Kolby, Caleb, Kyler and wife Karen, Carson, Matthew and Cloe; one great-grandson, Kyler II; two brothers, Edwin Copeland and wife Lavina of Desloge, William Copeland of Bonne Terre; two sister, Mary Lee Mounce of Park Hills, and Cora Sue (Mrs. Stanton) LaPlant of Desloge; dear friend, Mary Lou Hodge; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held at C.Z Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Friday, April 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bob Price officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.
