Clinton "Jr" Sutton

          Clinton Sutton, Jr., 63, of Bismarck, passed away, June 15, 2021, at Mercy Jefferson in Festus, surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born February 22, 1958, in Bonne Terre, to the late Clinton Charles and Edna Aileen (Dillard) Sutton, Sr.  JR loved fishing, mushroom hunting, listening to music, and spending time with his grandkids.

          He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Bobby, Jerry, Lonnie and Donald Sutton and sister-in-law, Jane Sutton.

          JR is survived by his wife of 36 years, Nina (Elser) Sutton; son, Larry Mendenhall; grandchildren, Mia and Easton Mendenhall; great-grandchildren, Ava and Eliana; siblings, Roger (Melody) Sutton, Richard (Jamie) Sutton, and Sue (Ralph) Shelton; sisters in-law, Barbara and Dana Sutton; several nieces and nephews also survive.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, June 18, 2021, from 4:30 PM until service time at 7:00 PM.  A private inurnment will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the National Diabetes Association.
