Cleadis Skiles, 92, of Leadwood passed away June 10, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 3, 1924 in Leadwood, MO. to the late Joe Skiles and Lizzie (Crump) Skiles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Norma Ruth Skiles, a sister, Nellie Skiles; three brothers, Jesse Skiles, Clifford Skiles and Harrison Skiles.
Cleadis was a WW II veteran serving with the United States Navy.
Cleadis is survived by his six children, Susan Campbell of Florida, Joe (Diane) Skiles of Park Hills, Carolyn Dalton of Leadwood, Mark (Vicky) Skiles of Sikeston, Cleadis “Don” Skiles of Desloge, Lisa (Bryan) Webb of Bonne Terre; 11 Grandchildren, Bonnie, Christina, Joe, Steve, Jason, Shannon, Justin, Lindsy, Darrick, Andy, and Heather; 15 Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Slade of Festus.
The funeral procession led by patriot guard will meet at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Leadwood at 10:30 am Wednesday June 14, 2017 and will travel to Leadwood Cemetery for a graveside service with full military honors scheduled at 11 am.
The family wants to say a special thank you to Serenity Hospice, a special aid, Crystal and grand-daughter, Christina for giving us all the help and support we needed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Serenity Hospice in Park Hills.
