Clarence Fenwick

            Clarence “J.R.” Fenwick, of Irondale, passed away July 2, 2017. He was born August 6, 1943, in Desloge, to the late Clarence Austin and Tessie (Rawlins) Fenwick, Sr. J.R. was retired from Boeing and a member of Local #837 and Gumbo Church of God. 

            He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jim Ray Vandiver and Harold Lee Fenwick. 

            J.R. is survived by his loving wife, Lillie (Cox) Fenwick; four children, Angela (Coy) Amsden, Terry (Chrissy) Fenwick, Tom (Lisa Long) Fenwick, Chuck (Crystal) Fenwick; grandchildren, Andrew (Leeanna) Fenwick, Bobby Clifton, Cassie Fenwick, Tiffany Fenwick, Carson Heady, Jake Fenwick, Tyler Fenwick, Chase Fenwick, Terra Fenwick, Christopher Fenwick, and Carter Fenwick; great-grandchildren, Blair Clifton, Serenity Fenwick, Cooper Fenwick, Brody Clifton, and Emma Fenwick; siblings, Rev. Delmar (Joann) Fenwick, Edward “Weldon” (Sandy) Fenwick, Frank (Pat) Fenwick, Sharon Fenwick, and Carol Fenwick. 

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Tuesday, July 4, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The service will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Desloge, Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Cleo Counts officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
