Clarence Dixon, 75, of Park Hills passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at his home. He was born Tuesday, December 9, 1941 in Flat River to the late Clarence Lee and Minnie (Sedgewick) Dixon. Also preceding him in death are two brothers, Gilbert and Melvin Dixon; sister, Marie Rawlins. He loved to hunt and fish. Clarence was an active member of the House of Praise Church of God for many years passionately serving the Lord through the food pantry.
Clarence is survived by his loving wife of over 55 years, Mary Ann (Eaton) Dixon; daughter, Becky Vandergraph and husband Scott; son, Bill Dixon and wife Kay; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Jennings and husband James.
Visitation will be Monday, August 28, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Visitation will resume Tuesday at 9:00 AM at the House of Praise Church of God. Service will be at 11:00 AM with Rev. Eric “Rick” Wade and Rev. Josh Vandergraph officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington. Memorials can be directed to the House of Praise Food Pantry.
