'View Video Tribute'
Mrs. Clara Elizabeth Klinkhardt passed away early Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, Farmington, at the age of 88 years, 11 months & 25 days. Clara was born March 3, 1919, in Dexter, MO., & was the daughter of Michael Albert Litzler & Mary 'Dietsch' Litzler. Also preceding-in-death were: 4 Sisters & 3 Brothers.
Clara was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington, and active in the Ladie's Sodality and St. Joe Ladies Quilters. She was a member of the Farmington Women's Bowling Association & St. Francois County 4-H Club. She was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary. Walt & Clara were married on July 30, 1940, at the St. Ann's Church in Malden, MO.
Survivors Include : her husband, Walter P. Klinkhardt, of Farmington. 1 Daughter, Mary Lou 'Mrs. Elroy' Brady, of Farmington. 2 Sons: Phillip (& Pam) Klinkhardt, Jr., of Raymore, MO & James Joseph (& Jane) Klinkhardt, of Farmington. 1 Sister, Rita Bader, of Dexter, MO. 9 Grandchildren: John G. Brady & Linda; J. Chris (& Kim) Brady; Alexandra, Olivia, Devlin, Tessa & Grace Klinkhardt. J. Matthew (& Julie) Klinkhardt & Brandon Klinkhardt. Also, 3 Great-Grandchildren: Sloane Mallory Brady; Sullivan Tay Brady & Johnathan A. Klinkhardt. Also surviving are numerous Nieces; Nephews & Special Friends.
Visitation: Friday, 5-9 p.m., with Rosary @ 7 p.m. Visitation resumes Saturday at 7:00 a.m.
Funeral Mass : Saturday, 11:00 a.m., March 1, 2008
at : St. Joseph Catholic Church, Farmington, with Fr. Ricky Valleroy officiating.
Interment : New Calvary Parish Cemetery, Farmington.
Memorials Preferred In Lieu of Flowers to: * St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington &/or * The Bob Silvey VA Clinic of Farmington.
