Chester Green

Chester W. Green, 87, of Ballwin, formerly of Bonne Terre passed away May 20, 2015 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis. He was born May 26, 1927 in Bonne Terre. Chester was a member of the American Legion Post #611 of Ballwin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Minnie (White) Green; wife, Faye (Pettus) Green; son, Jeffery Green; six siblings, Linda Heller, Lester Green, Oman Green, Leota Radle, Verlin Green and Imogene Peppers. Chester is survived by his daughter, Terri Newell and husband Bob; four grandchildren, Vicki (Jim) Evers, Daniel (Sarah) Green, Rob (Sara) Newell, David Green; five great-grandchildren, Hannah, Reilly, Jamison, Lexie, Cam; sister, Snookie Buscher; special family friends, Donnie and Kay Easter. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Wednesday at 1:30 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. Randy Black officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park with full military honors.
