Chester Carrow

Chester Carrow, 88, of Bonne Terre passed away March 16, 2013 at his residence. He wasborn January 16, 1925 in Bonne Terre to the late Zeno and Anna (Thompson)Carrow. Also preceeding in death is his wife, Glenda (Roux) Carrow; son, JamesCarrow; brothers, Zeno Carrow and George Carrow.Chester served his country in the United States Army during World War II, he wasinvolved in various campaigns such as Rhineland and Central Europe where heearned two bronze stars. Chester was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Chester is survived by children, Chester "Pete" (Cynthia) Carrow Jr., Michael (Terri)Carrow, Steven (Sun Ye) Carrow, Tonya (David) UmFleet, Candace Williams, Angela(Scott) Hutchinson, Kenneth Carrow, Chris (Beth) Carrow, Aaron (Elizabeth)Carrow; sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Alvena "Mae"Carrow, Mary Corum, Molly Valleroy, Corey Carls; several nieces and nephewsalso survive. Visitation will be Tuesday March 19, 2013 from 4 to 9 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & SonFuneral Home in Bonne Terre with a prayer service at 6 pm. Funeral mass will be10 am Wednesday March 20, 2013 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terrewith Rev. John Schneider officiating. Interment will follow at St. JosephCemetery with full military honors. Memorials may be directed to AmHeartHospice.
