Cheryl A. Jones, 65, of Ironton passed away July 14, 2024 at Kindred Hospital St. Louis South. She was born January 26, 1959 in St. Louis to the late Milton Nicholas and Dorothy Marie (Coleman) Singer. Cheryl was a member of the First Baptist Church of DeLassus. She enjoyed camping, hunting and sitting in the river. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Homer Jones; two brothers, Michael Singer and Thomas Singer; sister, Kathleen (Singer) Pryor and her husband Ronald; brother-in-law, James Jones; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Linda Rohde.
Cheryl is survived by three children, Joshua Lindsey, Jessica Noel and Renee Ryan; eight grandchildren, Richard Noel, Jacob Noel, Isabella Noel, Lance Ryan, Jordan Black, Mikey Russ, Elliot McCracken, Johnathan McCracken; four siblings, Michele Reeves (Gary Meek), Nicholas Singer, Sr., John Singer, Suzanne Elliott (Dave Grishom); sister-in-law, Edna Hedrick and husband Jim; special niece, Rudie Followell; dear friend, Kathy Moyers. Several other nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Visitation will resume at 9:00 AM on Friday until the time of service at 11:00 AM with Dr. Bill Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Pendleton Cemetery in Doe Run. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
