Charlotte Fraser

            Charlotte Fraser, 96, of Farmington, passed away March 15, 2017 at Country Meadows, surrounded by her family.  She was born August 15, 1920, in Wytheville, VA to the late Claude and Lena (Nelligan) Stroud. She taught for over 20 years in public schools throughout St. Francois County.  Charlotte was a member of the First Baptist Church of Park Hills.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Vernon Fraser; daughter, Rebecca Sue Gallagher; and brother, Claude R. Stroud, Jr.

            Charlotte is survived by two grandsons, Brent (Angela) Gallagher of Park Hills, Kirk Gallagher of Farmington; three great-grandchildren; Peyton, Dominick, and Penelope Gallagher; one sister, Eleanor R. Kay; and son-in-law; Pat (Sandy) Gallagher.

            The family will accept friends at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, on March 20, 2017 from 4:00 PM until time of memorial service at 6:00 PM.  Reverend Roger Hogan will be officiating.  Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Foundation www.alzfdn.org
