Charlie Watkins

Charlie Watkins, 78, of Park Hills passed away Monday, August 3, 2015 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital. He was born Wednesday, April 21, 1937 in Flat River to the late Virginia Watkins. Also preceding him in death is one grandson, Andrew Pope. He worked maintenance in the lead mining industry and he enjoyed camping, car shows, and traveling. Charlie is survived by his wife Ella Mae (Burcham) Watkins and five children, Richard Watkins and wife Beverly of Fredericktown, Harold Watkins and wife Sharon of Park Hills, Vicki Pope and husband James of Park Hills, Sandy Burnside and husband Kevin of Festus, and Terry Watkins and wife Missy of Leadwood; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a special aunt, Jennettia Burcham. Visitation will be Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills. Funeral service will be Friday, August 7, 2015 at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel at 11:00 AM with Brother Bob Thebeau officiating. Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery.
