Charley Delane Rodgers

Charley Delane Rodgers, age 72, of Bonne Terre, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Parkland Hospital in Bonne Terre.  Charley was born on Tuesday, October 11, 1949 in Obion Tennessee. Charley was preceded in death by his parents; Charley and Mary Ruth (Cunningham Rodgers, siblings; Anna Bradsfield and Wydell Cunningham.

Charley proudly serviced his country in the Army. He enjoyed the outdoors he loved to hunt and fish.  Charley will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  

  He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry (Barbey) Rodgers; children, Mollie (husband Moe) Olsen and Jason (wife Tara) Smith; grandchildren, Kendra Spaulding, Auston Rowe, Lydia Rowe, Natalee Olsen, Zackariah Smith, Lilianah Smith; great-grandchildren, Isaac Spaulding, Oakley Ticer, Lucy Spaulding, Elanor Rowe, Emery Ticer; sister; Freda (husband Roy) Smith, also survived by many nieces, nephews and host of friends.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 9:30 am until Service time of 11:30 am with Pastor Randy Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
