Charles Serini

            Charles Serini, 75, of Steedman, formerly of Desloge, passed away November 18, 2016 at his residence. He was born on August 20, 1941 in Frankclay to the late Clyde and Edna (Rickard) Serini. Charles was a member of Cantwell Baptist Church, Carpenters Local Union #1795 and Masonic Lodge #598.  

            In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two grandchildren; brothers, Clyde and Sammy Joe Serini; sister, Clara Anne Webb; and a sister-in-law Ella Mae Serini.

           Charles is survived by his wife, Nancy (Schwartz) Serini; children, Cynthia Rhoades of Jacksonville, FL., Ralph Edward and wife Debbie of Williamsburg, Laura Mae Austin and husband Clyde of Calwood, Charles Serini and wife Ruby of Steedman; eight grandchildren, Tony, Emma, Charles III, Ralph II, Samantha, Mendy, Sheena and Damien; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Ralph Serini and wife Barb, Donald Lee Serini and wife Linda; sisters, Margie Claunch and Naomi (Sissy) Sparks and husband Bud.

           Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Masonic Service at 7:00 PM.  The service will be held in the chapel, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Dennis West officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Cancer Society.
