Charles Leroy Cook, 92, of Bonne Terre passed away January 15, 2017 at Festus Manor. He was born January 10, 1925 in Greenville, IL to the late Reuben O. and Mary (Rench) Cook. Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II as a paratrooper with the 517th Parachute Infantry. He attended the Silver Springs Baptist Church in Bonne Terre.
Charles is survived by two brothers, Bob Cook and Harlow Cook; three children, Mikel Cook and wife Cathie, Carol Williams and husband Tim, April Ruzicka and husband Doug; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Pastor Mikel Cook officiating.
