Charles E. Schwidde

Mr. Charles E. Schwidde passed away Thursday, April 24, 2003, at Parkland Health Center, Farmington, at the age of 86 years. Charlie was born April 24, 1917, in Cuba, MO., to August William Schwidde & Lillie Elizabeth 'Naugle' Schwidde. He was preceded-in-death by his 1st wife, Gladys 'Stevens' Schwidde Feb. 17, 2002; 1 Sister, Elsie M. Smith (March 2000); 2 Brothers - Ora (1926) & Roy (1989). Charlie was: * a member of Farmington First Baptist Church; * a US NAVY Veteran of World War II & * a retired US Postal Official SURVIVORS INCLUDE: 2 SONS - Harvey E. "Gene" (& Linda) Schwidde, of Wytheville, VA; Charles (& Gloria) Schwidde, of Washington, NC; His WIFE: Margaret Wall, of Farmington. Also, 5 GRANDCHILDREN: Debra Simon, Manchester, MO; Khrystel (Scott) Hylton, Willis, VA; Steve Schwidde, St. Louis Co., MO; Donald Schwidde, Gastonia, NC & Edward Schwidde, Greenville, NC. Also, 7 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN. Visitation Sunday, 4-8 pm, resuming Monday, 7 am, & funeral Monday, 11 am, April 28, 2003, at Farmington First Baptist Church with Dr. William C. Miller & Rev. Donald Stanley officiating. Interment in Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington. Memorials maybe given to: Farmington First Baptist Church.
