Henry Charles “Bo” Snyder, 85, of Farmington passed away April 27, 2021 at NHC Healthcare in Desloge. He was born June 29, 1935 in Bonne Terre to the late Willard and Florence (Thurman) Snyder. Bo proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He attended Memorial United Methodist Church and retired from Mineral Area College where he was employed with the General Services Department. He was an avid pheasant hunter and enjoyed many hunting trips to Nebraska.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Hilda O’Sullivan, Jean Momot and Reva LaVerne Harris; one brother, Rev. Willard “Bud” Snyder; two nephews, Mark Momot and Gary Klemp; great-niece, Rose Klemp.
Bo is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Hosking) Snyder; two sons, Chuck Snyder and Jason Snyder; three grandchildren, Max, Rhett and Kate Snyder; one sister, JoAnn McDowell; one brother, Rev. Don Snyder and wife Kay; sister-n-law, Mary Snyder. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the time of a memorial service at 1:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington with Rev. Don Snyder officiating. Inurnment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens with full Military Honors. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Face masks are recommended while in the building.
