Charles Allen Scarbrough

Charles Allen Scarbrough, 65, of Park Hills passed away April 5, 2015 at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center. He was born March 8, 1950 in Paragould, Arkansas to the late James and Alma (Middleton) Scarbrough. Also preceding him in death was his daughter, Allie Scarbrough. Allen proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Arcadia Valley VFW. He was a professional drummer widely known at "Allen the Drummer". He was a precious soul and beloved brother. Allen is survived by one brother, Ted Scarbrough and wife Pam of Arcadia; two sisters, Kay Black of Farmington and Teresa Calvert and husband Russell of Arcadia. A private family memorial is being planned at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
