Cecil E. Barron Sr.

Cecil E. Barron Sr., age 82, of Desloge, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020, at his residence. He was born on October 6, 1937 in Perry Township. Cecil was preceded in death by his parents Walter Francis and Della May (Burns) Barron as well as six brothers Wyman, Orville, Henry, Gene, Clarence “Smiley”, Firmin and two sisters Mary Wisdom and Gladys Kopp.

Cecil loved spending time with his grandchildren and loved riding around town in his buggy.

Cecil is survived by his children, Cecil “Eddie” (Kristie) Barron Jr. of Fredericktown; and daughter, Amy (Brent) Hahn of Farmington; grandchildren, Alyssa Bramhall, Kyle Bramhall, Matthew Barron, and Elaina Barron; three sisters, Edna (Dean) Richardson, Hilda McCarty, and Faye Mantei; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

There will be a visitation Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from noon until 2:00 PM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Pastor Gary Stabenow will be officiating. Interment will follow at New Diggins Cemetery in Potosi. Memorials can be made to Preferred Hospice.
