CARROLL LAVERN BREWERCarroll Lavern Brewer, age 70, of Leadwood, Missouri passed away December 8, 2010 at his residence. He was born June 17, 1940 in Leadwood, Missouri.Carroll was a veteran of the U. S. Army and longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Leadwood. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family, teaching them to camp and fish. He will be missed by his loving family and friends.He is preceded by his parents, Jessie R. and Bessie L. (Thurman) Brewer; two brothers, Delbert B. Brewer and Leslie H. Brewer; sister, Mary L. Hughes.Carroll is survived by his son, Harold Benjamin (Ben) Brewer and wife Angie of Leadwood; daughter Julieann Brewer of St. Louis; and one grandson, Jesse L. Brewer of the home, who Carroll enjoyed and took pride in helping to raise. Also survived by a special niece, Roxana Heaps, and nephew, Charles Brewer, who he helped raise; several other nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.Visitation will be 5:00 PM Thursday (December 9, 2010) at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Leadwood. Services are 11:00 AM Friday (December 10, 2010) at C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Leadwood with Rev. Bill Bond officiating. Burial is in Leadwood Cemetery.
