Carolyn Allen

Mrs. Carolyn Allen passed away Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at The Arbors at Maplebrook, in Farmington, at the age of 81 years, 11 months & 27 days. Carolyn was the daughter of Casper Edward Gibson (Dec'd Feb. 1, 1979), and Ethel M. 'Wann' Gibson (Dec'd Apr. 14, 1970). Carolyn was born Oct. 8, 1935, at Stono Mountain, MO., and was preceded-in-death by her husband, Donald Paul Allen (Jan. 14, 1996).

Carolyn was united in marriage on Sept. 25, 1953, to Donald Paul Allen. Carolyn was a member of Farmington First Baptist Church and worked in the Loan Department of Ozark Federal Savings & Loan Association, Farmington, for 40+ years. She was a very dear, loving mother and her grandchildren were the light of her life. A special 'Thank You' to the team at The Arbors and Preferred Hospice !

Survivors Include : a daughter, Donna (& Jerry) Miller; a son, Greg (& Jane) Allen, all of Farmington. 5 grandchildren: Bryant (& Alta) Allen; Bryana Allen; Kayla (& Chris) Olson; Patrick Drye & Kyleigh Drye. Also surviving is a special cousin, Margie Hensley, of Farmington.

Visitation at Funeral Home : Sunday, 5-8 p.m. & Monday, 6:30 - 8:00 a.m.

Visitation at Church : Monday, 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.

Funeral : Monday, 11:00 a.m., Oct. 9, 2017

at : Farmington First Baptist Church, with Rev. Gary Allen officiating

Interment follows at : Doe Run Memorial Cemetery, Doe Run, Missouri
