Carol Lay

Carol Lay, 72, of Bonne Terre, passed away, December 29, 2020 at Mercy Jefferson in Festus.  She was born October 10, 1948, in Bonne Terre, to the late Henry and Virginia (Pinkston) Rosener.  She was a member of the St. Joseph Church in Bonne Terre. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John C. Lay and three brothers, Gene Rosener, Pauly Rosener, and James Henry Rosener. 

Carol is survived by two sons, John Lay, Jason Lay and wife Julie; daughter, Stephanie Lay; eight grandchildren, Ashley, Heather, Sarah, Jeremiah, Mason, AJ, Emma and Sunni; sister in-law, Jane Rosener; several nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends. 

A visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 11:00 AM until service time of 1:00 PM with Rev. Stephen Bauer officiating. Services will also be livestreamed on our Facebook page. Face masks are required.
