Carl Dunlap

Carl "Tug" Dunlap, 90 of Leadwood, passed away June 3, 2014 surrounded by his family at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. He was born November 29, 1923 in Wortham, to the late Thomas and Belle (Clark) Dunlap. He served in the US Navy and was a member of the First Church of God in Leadwood.He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clifford, Lester and Joseph Dunlap; sisters, Georgia Faye Lawson, Violet Beckett, Ruby Graves, Jessie Bradley and Martha Green; half-sisters, Hilma Roderick, Ruth and Leona.Carl is survived by his wife Erma (Banks) Dunlap; children, Carla Jane (Mrs. George) Reser of Indiana, Karen Lee (Mrs. Douglas) Bundy of Alaska, Gloria Deanne Loughary of Farmington, and Shawnda Dunlap of Branson; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and half-brother, Obbie Dunlap.Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Leadwood, Friday, June 6, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held at First Church of God in Leadwood, Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ed Watson and Rev. Kendall Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery.
