Carl Aubuchon, Jr. “Butch”, age 69, of Bonne Terre, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus. He was born on Thursday, December 22, 1955, in St. Louis to the late Carl Herbert Aubuchon, Sr. and Reva Delores (Carnahan) Aubuchon.
Carl was a Boy Scout leader for 38 years, a youth director for 20 years and deacon with Silver Springs Baptist Church, welder supervisor on the river for over 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to Branson and to Silver Dollar City with his grandkids.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Martha (Adams) Aubuchon; brother-in-law, Francis Jones; and sister, Deborah Sue Aubuchon in infancy.
Carl is survived by his sons, Christopher Aubuchon, Curtis Aubuchon; grandchildren, Amber Lynn Aubuchon, Logan Matthew Aubuchon; siblings, Donna Jones, Janet Welsh (Martin), Sharon Sipp (Darin Brown), Mark Aubuchon (Rhonda). Also surviving is a close friend, April Hicks and many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Desloge from 9:00 AM until service time of 10:00 AM with Pastor Ronnie Rothlisberger officiating. Burial to follow at Carson Hill Cemetery.
