Brenda Carlene Smith

Brenda Carlene Smith, 77, of Bonne Terre passed away January 4, 2018 at St. Joe Manor. She was born October 7, 1940 in St. Louis. She was a member of the Primrose Baptist Church of Bonne Terre.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Scheck and Lucille (Wilson) Gruner; loving husband, Clarence “Gene” Smith; son, Wesley E. Smith; three brothers, Michael Scheck, David Scheck and Gary Scheck.

Brenda was a loving mother and is survived by two children, Deborah “Debbie” Fox and husband Alva of Bonne Terre and Timothy W. Smith of Farmington; three grandchildren, Andrew Fox, Aaron Fox and Abigayle Smith; two brothers, Frank Scheck and Alfred Scheck; sister, Marilyn Blunt and husband Joe. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. Randy Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Michael J.
