Brad Sloan

Brad Sloan, 54, of Perryville passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. He was born Thursday, September 1, 1960. He is preceded in death by his father, James "Bud" Sloan. Brad was employed as a lead foreman for Lee Mechanical for over 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to farm, hunt, and fish. Brad is survived by his wife, Pat Hovis Sloan of Perryville; mother, Wanda Sloan-Grimwood of Farmington; children, Melissa (Ken) Williams of High Ridge and James (Lacey) Sloan of Farmington; grandson, J.R. Sloan of Farmington; stepchildren, Joshua Mudro and children: Alexa, Brinden, Jacie, amd Mya of Marble Hill, Crystal Mudro and children: Blake and Preston of Cape Giraradeau, Jake (Brittany) Hovis and children: Tyson, Lillie, and Brylee of Marble Hill, and Jerrad Hovis of Marble Hill; brothers, Rodney (Angie) Sloan of French Village and Christopher (Jeana) Sloan of Imperial. Brad is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Funeral Service will be Thursday at 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge. Interment will follow in Whitewater Cemetery near Perryville.
