Boyce Thrasher

Boyce "Ray" Thrasher, 74 of Desloge, passed away on October 3, 2013. He was born in Little River, AR on August 6, 1939. He was a member of Local #27 Boilermakers.He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Sue Thrasher; parents, Bolden and Ruth Thrasher.Ray is survived by many loved ones such as children, Danny Thrasher, Jimmy Thrasher and wife Debbie, Sherry (Mrs. Rick) Neeley all of Desloge, and Theresa (Mrs. Jonathan) Hurst of Bonne Terre; siblings, Betty Hampton of Fairdealing, Maedean Thrasher of St. Louis, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Thrasher of AK, Mr. and Mrs. E.B. Thrasher of OK; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was loved by all who met him and will be greatly missed.Visitation will held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Monday, October 7, 2013 at 11 AM with Pastor Rick Wade officiating. Entombment will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery. There will be a luncheon at House of Praise following entombment.
