Bonnie Mcbride

Bonnie M. McBride, 77, of Desloge, passed away June 9, 2012, at the Parkland Health Center in Bonne Terre. She was born October 1, 1934, in Bismarck, and she was the daughter of the late Lawrence E. McGrael and Goldie (Massengale) McGrael LaBruyere. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister: Lester, Tilford, Clark, Billie (her twin), and Margaret.Bonnie was a member of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church, a member of the VFW Womens Auxiliary, and a member of the 2nd Indianhead Division Auxiliary. Bonnie was employed as an independent rural mail carrier for 27 years.Surviving Bonnie are her loving husband, William, and five children: Michael McBride (Susie) of Bonne Terre, Myra Hill (John) of Pevely, Marsha McBride of St. Louis, Marie Jennings (Thomas) of Farmington, and Michelle LaPlant (Anthony) of Bonne Terre. She is also survived by five grandchildren: T. C. Jennings, Tyler LaPlant, Connor McBride, Molly McBride, and Colton Jennings; also two sisters-in-law: Dolores McGrael and Dorothy McGrael.Visitation for Bonnie will be Tuesday, June 12th, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Services will follow on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Bonne Terre, with Rev. Charles Henrickson officiating. Interment will occur at a later time and date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Charles Kilo Diabetes Foundation or St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Bonne Terre.
