Bobby G. Ellis Sr.

Bobby G. Ellis Sr., 67, of Bonne Terre passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis. Gene was born in St. Louis, MO to John and Mable (Malkey) Ellis, September 19, 1945. Preceding him in death is his wife, Viola Marler Ellis, his parents, one grandson, Shane Michel, four brothers, William, Johnny Ray, Happy and Raymond Ellis. He is survived by two daughters, Christine (Mrs. Randy Short Sr.) of Bonne Terre, Kim (Mrs. Michel Korn) of Bonne Terre, and one son, Bobby Ellis Jr. and wife Misty of Frederictown. Also surviving is one brother, Wendall Ellis and wife Bobbie of Farmington, and two sisters, Betty Whittaker of Barnhart and Ruth Ann Smith of Kentucky, two grandsons, Randy Short Jr. and Christopher Short. Mr. Ellis was a member of the Bread of Life Worship Centre. Visitation is 5:00 p.m. Tuesday and services at Noon Wednesday at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre. Officiating will be Pastor Steve Jackson. Interment in Bonne Terre Cemetery.
