Bob William Bertelsmeyer

Robert “Bob” William Bertelsmeyer, age 95, of Bonne Terre, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing in Farmington, Missouri. Bob was born March 4, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri. Bob attended Church of God in Bonne Terre. He was a hard worker, enjoyed dancing, and loved his family dearly.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Bertelsmeyer and Elvira (Oglesby) Brisendine; son, James Robert Bertelsmeyer; and daughter, Roberta Jean Bertelsmeyer.

Bob is survived by his wife, Melba Jean (McClain) Bertelsmeyer; children, Vicky Morse and husband Paul and Willy Bertelsmeyer; grandchildren, Cindy Bertelsmeyer, Bobbie Baker, and Kathleen McDonnell; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

 There will be a Memorial Service held 4 pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Bonne Terre with Brother Steve Clevenger and wife Penny officiating. C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Homes recommends a mask be used and social distancing be implemented.
