Blondell Kearns

            Blondell Kearns, 90, of Bonne Terre, passed away February 13, 2018 at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre.  She was born August 1, 1927, in Sikes, LA, to the late Allen and Bertha Jane (Willis) Erskine.  Blondell was of Southern Baptist Faith, a member of the Eastern Star in Ironton, and she loved playing bridge and gardening.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merlin Kearns; siblings, Allen Erskine, Jr., Iona Slankard, Agnes Inez Whatley, Margie Murphy, and Patricia Durham.

            Blondell is survived by her children, Robert Clyde Pruett, Jr. and wife Patricia, Jerry Pruett and wife Cherry, Michael D. Pruett and wife Janet; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, James Erskine and wife Barbara, Bobbie Jean Hesterly, and Betty Ann Clark and husband William.

            Interment was held Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Woodlawn Cemetery, under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home.
