Billy Wester

Billy Wester, 64, of Desloge, passed away December 3, 2024, at Community Manor in Farmington. He was born January 15, 1960, in McAlester, OK, to the late Bill and Earnestine (Richardson) Wester. Billy was an over the road truck driver who loved what he did and the peaceful time it brought. He also liked drinking his coffee, Dr. Pepper, watching TV, playing chess and his blue truck.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Karen (Sago) Wester; stepchildren, Heather Cannell, Jaime Mendenhall and Carrie Cannell; six grandchildren, Payton Damons-Stewart and husband Tyler, Tyler Cannell, Collin Hahn, Abbie Mendenhall, Jacob Anson and Aria Wade; two great-grandchildren, Axl and Eden; siblings, Charlotte Clunn and husband Rusty of California, Wallace Wester and wife Brenda of Nevada; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 1:00 PM with Chaplain James Wills officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
