Billy Dozier

Billy Dean Dozier, 80, of Doe Run passed away June 15, 2015 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. He was born January 1, 1935 in Puxico, MO to the late Fredrick and Effie (Morgan) Dozier. Also preceding him in death three brothers, Lewis Dozier, Cecil Dozier, John Dozier; two sisters, Sylvia Watson and Viva Wilkenson. Billy proudly served his country in the United States Army. After 26 years of service in the Army he retired and then worked as a civil servant for the Department of the Army. He enjoyed remodeling homes, gardening and fishing. Billy is survived by his wife, Lillian (McLard) Dozier; two children, Steven Dozier and wife Linda, Bruce Dozier and wife Sharon; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Sneed. Visitation will be Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Friday at 10:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre. Interment will follow at the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
