Bev Thomas

     Beverly “Bev” Jean Thomas, age 66, of Park Hills, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Country Meadows Nursing Care in Park Hills.  She was born on Tuesday, January 18, 1955, in Bonne Terre to the late Donald and Shirley (Pinkston) Leftridge.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Shelly Thomas and  brother, Larry Leftridge. 

     Bev was a member of Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church in Park Hills.   In her younger years when she was able, she enjoyed being outside tending to her flowers.  She was spunky and loved telling jokes, but most of all she loved her grandchildren.

     Bev is survived by her loving husband, Tommy Thomas; children, Brandi Wells-Richardson and husband Jeff, Cassie Wells-Brauer, Tony Overcash and wife Dawn; grandchildren, Cody Wade, Lucas Richardson, Layne Brauer, Corrine Brauer and Aiden Overcash; siblings, Robin Benne and husband Stan, Pam Clippard and husband Lynn, Diane Pearson and husband Ronnie, Donna Kay Leftridge, Joyce Long and husband Mike, Carl Burr and wife Ann; sister-in-law, Jeannie Leftridge along with several nieces and nephews.

     Family and friends may gather at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home parking lot in Desloge at 1:30 PM, the funeral procession will leave at 1:45 PM for St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery in Bonne Terre where a public graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, with Harold Huff officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
