Beulah I. Tiefenauer, 86, of Desloge died Saturday, April 5 2014, at her sisters home in Farmington. She was born in Desloge on June 6, 1927 to Walter and Alma (OBryan) Tiefenauer. Beulah was employed by St. Joe Lead Company as a bookkeeper, receptionist and utility worker. She retired after more than 40 years. Beulah was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Desloge, where she served as church treasurer for many years. Beulah "Boots" never married and spent most of her life taking care of her mom and dad. She was a special Aunt to her many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Lee, Russell "Sike", and Donald Tiefenauer; her sisters Bernice Hawkins, Berlene Wright, Mildred Tiefenauer; brothers in law, Harold Myers and Ernest Hawkins; sisters in law, Opal and Geneva. She is survived by her brothers Cotton and wife Pat, Herky and wife June; sister Bess Myers; two special nieces, Wanda Richardson and Cindy Myers. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Monday April 7, 2014 from 5 to 8 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Visitation resumes Tuesday at 9 am at the First Baptist Church in Desloge with the funeral service following at 10 am with Rev. Bradford Laubinger officiating. Interment will be at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
