Beulah Gowen

Beulah Gowen, 86 of Farmington formerly of Bonne Terre, passed away, Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Camelot Nursing Center in Farmington. She was born February 11, 1926 in French Village to the late William and Ellen (Hodge) Rosener.She was a member of the Church of God in Bonne Terre for over 70 years. She was also preceded in death by husband, Earnest Gowen of 70 years; daughter and son in-law, Rev. Robert and Bonnie Holland; six brothers, Wyman, Floyd, Tilford, Troy, and Roy Rosener, Leeman Hodge; five sisters, Florence Jennings, Lenora White, Etheleen Carrow, Geneva House and Sarah Gillam. Beulah is survived by son, Lindell Gowen and wife Hazel of Bonne Terre; 6 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive guests at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.The service will be in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Desloge, Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11:00 AM with her grandson, Rev. Jeffrey L Gowen officiating.Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.Memorials may be given to Bonne Terre Church of God for Ministry of the Church.
