Betty M. Wells

Betty Mae Wells, 79, of Bonne Terre passed away June 17, 2015 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born March 7, 1936 in St. Louis to the late Phillip and Edna Scheller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hiram "Thomas" Wells; son, Tom Wells; daughter, Mary Ann Wells; two son-in-laws, David Long and Larry Drum. Betty is survived by five daughters, Ella Mae Guffey, Janet (Timothy) Wilson, Debra (Danny) Branch, Pam Long and Susie Drum; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Fran Scheller. Visitation will be Friday, June 19, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. Randy Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Primrose Baptist Church.
