Betty Louease Bristol

Betty "Louease" Bristol, 79 of Leadwood, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 atClaru DeVille Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Fredericktown. She was born October 8, 1933 in Elvins, to the late Madison Louis and Edna Pearl (Nance) Reese. She was a member of the Frankclay Assembly of God Church and worked at Farmington Community Hospital until 1992. She loved to sing to the Lord, and would ask anyone if she could sing them a song.She was a very kind, loving and caring person with a big heart. Louease will be missed by everyone who loved her and knew her. It is our loss and Heavens gain.She was preceded in death by first husband, William Edsel Stevens; second husband, William Harvey Bristol; stepson, Gary Barnes; granddaughter, Dawna Stevens; four brothers, Willard Reese, William Reese, Cecil Reese, and Joel Reese; five sisters, VioletBeaudoin, Dorothy Hayes, Zelma Casteel, Pauline Reese, and Luvada Wilhelm.Louease is survived by children, Martin (Jan) Stevens, Paul (Geri) Stevens, Rick Stevens, Pam (Mrs. Richard) Middleton; step-children, Sonny (Marilyn) Barnes, Clifford Barnes,Bonnie Whitaker, Bill Bristol, Jesse (Barb) Bristol, Kenny Bristol and Donna (Sam); sister in-law, Alene Reese; numerous grandchildren, great-grand-children, nieces, nephew andfriends.Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, March 15, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM and will resume, Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The service will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Sidney Laxton officiating.Interment will follow at Sunlight Cemetery in Belgrade. Memorials may be given to Asperger Association or Epilepsy Foundation.
